Cotijas Taco Shop

As fish taco lovers, my wife and I wanted to enjoy fish a fish burrito, but found out that cotijas serves fish tacos at a better price. Let me start off by saying that the customer service at the Eastlake Cotijas was unparalleled. The fish tacos were a perfect balance of tomatoes, cabbage, crispy beer battered fish, with a cream sauce that brings everything together for a nice experience. We WILL be back again!

I’ve eaten at Cotijas in the San Diego area and have had good food. However, the Eastlake location stands out. The food is always delicious and fresh. I have always received fantastic customer service. The individuals that work at the register are always polite and orders accurate. Additionally, the restaurant is extremely clean. I couldn’t be happier!

This place has become our new go to for delicious street tacos. Also their fries are the best!

This place has been opened for about a month, they have access to wheel chairs, the restart is wheel chair friendly, the bathrooms are unisex, the parking is free and plenty. They have a lot of vegetarian options as well as a lot of choices of meat, chicken, beef, lengua, buche, carnitas, adobada. Tacos, breakfast at all times. Tortas, quesadillas, tacos duros. They don't deliver, you can order ahead and they will have your order once you arrive. Groups can come to eat here, it's good for vegetarians and others. Drinks they have Horchata & Jamaica , teas, soft drinks. The service is fantastic we loved it, the young lady that helped us was very helpful and very nice. The food was so good we are coming back. There is no alcohol for sale, bar, salad bar. The do have a salsa bar and the salsas are AWESOME!!! the taste was great and completed the good really well. I just love when me restaurants come to town and they really deliver! The cook was very nice and accommodating made for my two kids a couple of changes in the future that were out of the norm with a nice smile on his face. The young girl deliver the food to us as it came out, that was awesome. Got to say so far this is way better that what used to be there before. I'd do close to my office and to my house, I think I'll be coming back soon to try the lengua tacos with cilantro and salsa verde. Looking forward to do that. At the mean time I'll leave you with the pictures to check the food out. By y way the prices were very good.

We ordered 50 rolled tacos with all the fixins' for a party recently. The people at Cotijas are terrific. Our order was ready on time, hot and looked great. They included large amounts of cold shredded lettuce, fresh diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, yellow and white, a nice container or delicious guacamole and some mildly spicy salsa verde. Cotijas did not skimp on any of the toppings. The beef were delicious, and those that ate the chicken taquitos said they very very good as well. What a great addition to my rice and beans. Thanks Cotijas! You always deliver great tasty Mexican food!

Cotijas Taco Shop in Eastlake is our go-to for Taco Tuesday, and it's been a family and friends favorite for years. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the food is consistently delicious. Cotijas has officially earned the coveted 'kid-approved' stamp from our kiddos! Even abuelita enjoys it too! I work in the shopping center as Cotija’s and eat here often for my lunch break. The food is always good and the service is great. My food is always ready quickly so I’m able to eat my lunch and get back to work on time. This is my go to place every Saturday when I’m working.

Such good Mexican food. Ordered the Grande Burrito. Wow! The size of it truly surprised me! Love the little village vibe of the area.
